as of May 23, 2009 [friends only] comment to be added. Perfection is overrated, just fyi. I sat by the glass wall, watching as the people strolled by. I couldn't hear the words they mouthed, nor the laughter that bubbled from their throats and big smiles. It was like a blanket of silence had muted the world from my ears. I turned back into the dim lighting of the coffee shop, reminded of the hot mug of mocha cradled between my small hands. Nowadays, everyone who walks down this path is in a rush, too busy to stop by for a chat or a slow drink of coffee. I remember how lively and noisy it was a few years back. All the life, has slowly withered away now. |
